Violent clashes renewed in the countryside of Arima and “Euphrates Shield” forces advance at the expense of the “Islamic State”

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the clashes renewed between the rebel and Islamic factions of “Euphrates Shield” supported by Turkish tanks against the fighters of Manbij Military Council in the western countryside of Manbij city, where the clashes were focused in the vicinity of the areas of Sbwiran and Sheikh Nasser near Arima town which is controlled by Manbij Military Council few days ago, the clashes were accompanied by shelling exchange between both parties. Manbij Military Council forces managed over the past few days to destroy 4 tanks of “Euphrates Shield” forces, while Turkish warplanes in conjunction with missile and artillery strikes by their forces targeted areas in Sbwiran and Sheikh Nasser and nearby villages which left several dead and wounded.

Meanwhile, about 15 people were injured -including children and citizen women- by the explosion of a landmine planted by the “Islamic State” earlier, while they were trying to get out of Arima area in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, also a fighter of the Syria Democratic Forces was killed during clashes in the northern countryside of Aleppo, also the factions of “Euphrates Shield” backed by Turkish forces and warplanes managed to advance and control the villages of Al-Ajmi and Dwairy in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, while the Turkish forces shelled elsewhere in al-Yalanji area in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, no information about casualties yet.
