Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid continues to collapse and is besieged in its last 4 areas after the regime forces’ first advancement after death threats of ISIS to execute abductees of al-Suwaidaa

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the violent clashes continue in places in Yarmouk Basin area in the western countryside of Daraa, between Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization against the regime Forces and militiamen loyal to them and factions of “the reconciliation”, accompanied by the continued intensive aerial and missile shelling on the area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring a new advancement achieved by the regime forces in a continuation of their military operations in the area, where they took control of Abdeen town, and decreased the areas that are controlled by Jaysh Khalid to 4 areas; most notably al-Shajra town, while members of Jaysh Khalid are trying to re-control Abdeen, where a violent explosion shook the area, probably caused by detonating a booby-trapped vehicle by Jaysh Khaled which swore allegiance to the Organization in the area, which is the first advancement for the regime forces after the organization threatened to execute al-Suwaidaa abductees if the military operation did not stop on the 28th of July 2018, and they are at least 30 abductees including 14 woman and 16 children, where the organization threatened the regime through one of the kidnapped women from the villages in the countryside of al-Suwaidaa, who appeared in a video broadcasted by ISIS, where Mrs. Souad Adib Abu Ammar in the video asked the Syrian regime president Bashar al-Assad and the media millionaire Kinanah Hwyja to carry out the terms of the “Islamic State” organization, and release prisoners and detainees belong to or connected to the organization, and stop the military operation in Yarmouk basin in the western countryside of Daraa, also in the video footage the woman warned that the organization will execute them if these conditions were not implemented.

The Syrian Observatory published yesterday, Sunday, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed shelling coinciding with violent fighting and the sound of violent explosions, in the western sector of Daraa countryside, where the regime’s helicopters dropped explosive barrels on the areas of Beit Arra and the towns of Abbdyn and Al-Shajara, as well as other places in the area that is still controlled by Jaysh Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed, in conjunction with violent clashes that are taking place between the regime forces supported by the factions of the “reconciliation” and the militiamen loyal to them, against the members of Jaysh Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed which pledges allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, in the vicinity of the areas of Abbdyn and Al-Shajara, amid intensive exchange of targeting on the contact lines, along with shelling by the regime forces on places in the controlled areas of Jaysh Khaled, while the warplanes and helicopters targeted areas in Al-Shajara town, as a part of desperate efforts by the regime forces to achieve advancement and take the control of the town, while this operation has been continuing since this morning after hours of calm today dawn, Sunday, which escalated the pace of fears for the lives of the women of Al-Suwaidaa who were abducted by the “Islamic State” organization, which have sent warnings through one of these abductees, amid fears for the lives of the displaced people and for the lives of about 4000 persons who remained within the controlled areas of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the organization in the western sector of Daraa countryside, after the latter was subjected to direct gunfire by the regime forces which resulted in the fall of a number of wounded, also information was reported about the fall of casualties and wounded in the shelling which was carried out today evening on the western countryside of Daraa.
