Idlib battles leaves nearly 30 regime soldiers and jihadis dead

Fierce clashes have been still continuing in Al-Tah and Jarjnaz in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, between factions and jihadi groups against the regime soldiers and loyalists.

The clashes which are coincided with ongoing exchange of fire between both parties, come as a part of the factions’ attack it launched this morning on positions of the regime.

SOHR has documented more casualties in the ranks of both warring parties. Since morning, it documented the killing of 18 regime soldiers and loyalists in the bomb attacks, shelling and clashes, meanwhile the number casualties among the factions and jihadis rose to ten.

With the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 1367, the number of people who were killed since the last agreement of “Putin – Erdogan” on the 31st of August 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until today, and they are: 323 civilians including 88 children and 64 citizen women, and they are 140 including 43 children and 24 women were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 21 including 3 women and seven children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 61 including seven children 13 women were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 87 people including 22 women and 26 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 14 citizens including five children and two women were killed in shelling by the factions on regime forces’-controlled areas in Aleppo and its countryside and the countryside of Hama, while at least 499 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 361 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 545 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

It rose to at least 5468, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until today, and they are: 1368 civilians including 343 children and 248 citizen women, and they are 366 including 87 children and 67 women, and 9 of the civil defense and 6 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 109 including 22 women and 22 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 598 including 162 children, 103 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 201 people including 42 women and 46 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 94 citizens including 31 children and 16 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 2164 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1448 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1936 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

During the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today; the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 5994 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1651 civilians including 429 children under the age of eighteen and 314 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 120 people including 34 children under the age of eighteen and 20 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2250 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1480 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 2093 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 6228 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1734 civilians including 458 children and 328 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 121 people including 34 children and 21 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2317 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1584 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 2177 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
