Repercussions of medical students’ vigil | “Salvation Government” arrests deputy director of Idlib’s health directorate

Reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that security forces affiliated to HTS-backed “Salvation Government” have arrested the deputy director of Idlib’s health directorate. This development comes after medical students’ protests against the health directorate’s recent decree which prevents internship of medical students in hospitals.

 

SOHR sources monitored earlier this afternoon medical students of Idlib University participating a vigil in front of the building of health directorate in Idlib city, condemning the directorate’s decree which prevents internship of medical students in hospitals.

 

The students lifted signboards with slogans written on them like “We want to learn – We hoped the health directorate supported not hindered us – Today’s students are the future doctors – The health directorate hinders the student’s education”.
