Coronavirus | “Syrian Interim Government” hands over 10,000 masks and disinfectants to Bab al-Salama camp’s administration, and number of people infected in north-western Syria jumps to 50

The Syrian Interim Government has handed over 10,000 masks and a large amount of disinfectants to the administration of Bab al-Salama camp. In addition, recommendations were made to the camp administration on the need to isolate infected people and those who mingled with them.

Health authorities have recorded three new coronavirus cases, one in Bab al-Salama camp, the other in al-Bab city in Aleppo countryside, and the third in Taftanaz town in Idlib countryside.

According to Observatory statistics, the number of confirmed cases, since July 9 to date, rose to 50, including two doctors were residing in Turkey.

The cases are broken down by region as follows: 22 cases, including medical staff in HTS-held areas in Idlib, parts of Aleppo, Hama and Latakia, and 26 cases in areas held by Turkish-backed factions, north of Aleppo.
