Escorted by two helicopters | Russian troops conduct routine patrol near Al-Malikia (Derek) in countryside of Hasakeh

Hasaka Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory has monitored Russian military police conducting a military patrol in the countryside of the city of Al-Malkiya (Derek) northeast of Hasakeh. The Russian patrol consists of four armoured vehicles accompanied by two helicopters to secure the air cover.

The patrol crossed the village of Sarmasakh Tahtani and headed to the village of Sarmasakh Foqani and then to the countryside of the town of Mabada, east of Qamishli.

Earlier on Saturday, the Syrian Observatory monitored US forces conducting a routine military patrol near the city of Al-Malikia (Dirk) in northeastern Syria, as part of their routine movements in the area.
