Aleppo | Turkish-backed factions and regime forces trade fire in northern countryside

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported exchange of fire, in the early hours of Thursday morning, with heavy and medium weapons between Turkish-backed factions and regime forces on Ain Daqnah frontline in the northern countryside of Aleppo, which resulted in the injury of a regime soldier.

 

On June 27, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces fired several rockets on Kurdish-held areas in Samouqah, Um al-Qura and Sadd al-Shahbaa in the northern countryside of Aleppo. The Turkish rocket fire coincided with sporadic clashes between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions on the frontlines of the region.

 

On the other hand, Kurdish forces shelled the outskirts of Mare’ city in the northern countryside of Aleppo, but no casualties were reported.

 

While on June 24, Turkish forces and their proxies bombarded areas in Sheikh Issa, Harbel and Tel Refaat, which are under control of Kurdish forces in north Aleppo countryside, amid clashes between pro-Turkey factions and Kurdish forces on the frontline of Harbel. But, no casualties were reported.
