Turkey-backed factions bombard SDF-held areas in Abu-Rasin (Zarkan)

 

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists, on Friday, have reported rocket fire by Turkish-backed factions in Dada and Abdel villages that are under control of the SDF in Abu-Raseen (Zarkan) areas, but no casualties have been reported.

On July 3, SOHR activists have monitored artillery fire carried out this evening by Turkish forces and their proxies on Abu Rasin countryside (Zarkan) in al-Hasakah countryside where dozens of shells hit military positions at villages of Tal Harmal and neighborhood of a al-Sheikh petrol station. However, no casualties have been reported.

On June 26, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions shelled, with heavy artillery, the villages of Um al-Khair and al-Mahal in Ras al-Ain countryside (Sere Kaniye) in al-Hasakah countryside.

Furthermore, Turkish forces and the factions expanded scope of their bombardment, targeting Kuzaliyah village in Tel Tamr countryside and other positions in Abu Rasin countryside (Zarkan). Meanwhile, SDF responded to this bombardment by shelling positions of Turkish-backed factions.
