“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces renew shelling positions in Hama, Latakia and Idlib

Syrian Observatory sources have reported renewed bombardment by regime forces on several positions in the “de-escalation zone”, as they targeted, with heavy artillery, positions in al-Faterah, Bayanin, Fulayfel, the outskirts of al-Bara in Jabal al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib, the surrounding areas of al-Ankawi in Sahl al-Ghab in north-western Hama, and frontlines of Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia. No casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that regime forces targeted the perimeter of the Turkish post in al-Bara village in Jabal al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib with heavy artillery. On the other hand, regime forces fired two artillery shells on the surrounding areas of eastern al-Atareb, which lightly injured a civilian.

SOHR activists in the de-escalation zone had reported that Russian warplanes executed several airstrikes at noon on the frontlines of Kabana in Jabal al-Akrad in north Latikkia countryside, and Hursh Joezief in Jabal al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib, which caused material damage, but no casualties were reported.
