Manbij military operations | Clashes renew between Turkish-backed factions and Manbij Military Council Forces

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported renewed clashes in the early hours of Saturday morning on the frontlines of Manbij countryside in north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, between Turkish-backed factions and Manbij Military Council Forces. The clashes were accompanied by bombardment and exchange of fire between both sides, while the clahses continued until dawn. However, no casualties have been reported so far.

 

Last night, SOHR activists monitored artillery fire by Turkish forces and their proxy factions stationed in Tokhar al-Saghir village on al-Lajat village, north-east of Manbij city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

 

On the other hand, SOHR activists monitored clashes with medium weapons between Manbij Military Council Forces and Turkish-backed factions on the frontlines of Tokhar and Aarab Hassane in Manbij countryside, but no causalities were reported.

SOHR activists had reported rocket fire by Turkish forces and their proxies, in the early hours of Friday morning, on areas under control of Manbij Military Council in Manbij countryside in eastern Aleppo. The rocket attack, which coincided with exchange of machinegun fire, left two people injured and caused material damage.
