Daraa deals | Security Committee and dignitaries agree on striking reconciliations of residents in al-Sanamen city while Jasem city reconciliation deals finished

Daraa province: SOHR activists have reported that the Security Committee affiliated to the Syrian regime has agreed with al-Sanamen city dignitaries in Daraa to strike new settlements with suspects and hand over weapons starting from tomorrow October 7. Meanwhile the Security Committee has provided names list of dozens of wanted of al-Sanmen inhabitants to the city dignitaries.

On the other hand, the regime forces finished reconciliation deals and handed over light weapons in Jasim city north of Daraa. According to sources, regime forces will run an inspecting campaign in the city tomorrow, coinciding with opening of roads and removing military checkpoints in the city.

Earlier today, SOHR suspects, including local gunmen, military deserters and young people who passed their date of joining the mandatory service to regime’s security branches are supposed to have had their security situations settled, after handing over their weapons. In addition, regime forces and the Russian military police will start inspection of the city’s houses later.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that regime forces and the Russian military police established a centre in Ankhil city in the northern countryside of Daraa in order to strike the new reconciliations in, after settling the disagreement between regime officers and the city’s dignitaries regarding the number of weapons required to be handed over. The two sides agreed on handing over no weapons and starting settling the security situations of the suspects.

On the other hand, regime forces had threatened to launch a military operation in Jasim city in the same countryside, unless 250 guns in the possession of Hawaran’s tribesmen were handed over. However, a meeting was held in Daraa city in the afternoon between the Daraa dignitaries and officers of the regime security committee, during which the regime officers agreed that the tribes of Jasim would hand over only tens of guns.

SOHR sources reported earlier that the Russian military police conducted a field tour in Sahem al-Golan town in al-Yarmouk Basin area in the western countryside of Daraa.

On the other hand, regime forces blocked all roads to Jasim city in the northern countryside of Daraa, preventing the residents, including university students and patients, from traveling in and out of the city.
