Military escalation | Turkish drone strikes regime post in northern Aleppo, amid clashes between Turkish and regime forces

Aleppo province: A Turkish drone has bombed a military post of regime forces in the industrial zone in Tel Rifaat city in the northern countryside of Aleppo, leaving material damage.

Turkish troops have shell areas between Tel Rifaat city and Sheikh Isa town, where Russian and regime forces are stationed.

Regime forces also have hit fighting frontlines on Marea city frontline.
Although one of regime rockets hit a residential area, no casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, reliable sources told SOHR that clashes with heavy and medium weapons erupted between the Kurdish forces and factions of the National Army on the frontline of Kabasheen village near Sherawa regions in Afrin countryside in north Aleppo province. But no casualties have been reported yet.

The clashes come after two days of cautious clam in the region.

On December 23, reliable sources informed SOHR that an artillery shell fall on a Turkish post in Sandaf village on the road between Azaz and Mar’a cities in north Aleppo, but no casualties were reported. Meanwhile, it is still unknown whether the shell was fired by Kurdish or regime forces on the frontlines.

Meanwhile, the frontlines on Harbel village in Mar’a city witnessed, in the early hours of Thursday, sporadic clashes with medium weapons.
