Death toll update | 11 Killed and injured in attack on house of Public Relations Chief in Deir Ezzor Civil Council while having iftar meal

SOHR activists have reported that the death toll of yesterday’s massacre has risen to seven. In addition to the injury of four people. When armed men, believed to be ISIS cells, waged an attack on the house of the chief of the relations office of Deir Ezzor Civil Council in Abu Khashab area in Deir Ezzor countryside.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the head of the relations office of the Deir Ezzor Council had invited some of his friends to have Iftar Ramadan “breaking the fast” then they were attacked while having the meal.

Since early 2022, SOHR has documented 82 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks and explosions, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.

According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 63 persons dead: 25 civilians and 38 members of SDF, the Internal Security Forces, and other military formations operating in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.

It is worth noting that these attacks have not included the operation of Ghuwayran prison, which left heavy losses.
