Pursuing commander of “Horas Al-Din” | Five anonymous drones fly over Idlib

Idlib province: SOHR activists have reported that anonymous armed drones were flying over areas holding commanders of jihadist organizations.

According to reliable SOHR sources, five drones flew in the region for hours searching for commanders of “Horas Al-Din” organization, where some commanders hide in Idlib northern countryside near borders with Luwaa Iskandrun.

“Horas Al-Din” organization was formed in early 2018, in light of escalation of disputes between HTS and jihadist factions in Idlib.

Moreover, the organization rejected the international agreements (Sotchy) and (Astana), and described them as conspiracy.

During the previous years, the “International Coalition” targeted camps, headquarters and leaders of the organization, killing many individuals, while HTS arrested others, and managed to uproot other jihadist factions, to extend its influence over the entire region and improve its image in front of the international community.

On June 28, SOHR sources confirmed that a leader of “Huras Al-ddin” accused of “pledging allegiance to Al-Qaeda” called “Abu Hamza Yemeni” was killed on Monday evening after being targeted by a missile by an International Coalition drone while he was riding his motorcycle on the road between Idlib city and Qaminas town.

The leader’s body was transported after it was burned and mutilated to an Idlib hospital.
