Al-Raqqa | Person accused of “belonging to IS-IS” targets security patrol with explosion

A patrol of the Internal Security Forces “Al-Asayesh” stormed a house in Al-Raqqa yesterday to arrest a person from Al-Jarka village in eastern Al-Raqqa countryside, who is accused of “belonging to ISIS”, where he refused to surrender himself and detonated a grenade, exploding himself and members of the patrol, causing his death and the severe injury of three members of Al-Asayesh.

Earlier today, “International Coalition” and SDF special forces raided a house where two persons were holding up in Al-Zer village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It was unknown whether the two men are ISIS members or not.
According to Syrian Observatory activists, upon arrival at the house, the two men refused to surrender. The helicopters of the International Coalition Forces targeted the house with heavy machine guns, killing two persons, one of whom was unknown.

A few hours ago, SOHR activists reported that the two people, who were killed in the joint operation between SDF and the “International Coalition” forces, were ISIS commanders.

The “International Coalition” admitted to executing the first joint operation with SDF since the latest Turkish military escalation on November 19.
