Condemning living conditions | Displaced civilians protest against H-T-S in Idlib

Idlib province: Dozens of displaced civilians in Al-Ataa camp in Atma town in northern Idlib countryside, protested against HTS against the deteriorating living conditions and for not supplying camps with water, demanding the least necessities of life.

This comes after several repeated promises by the police station of Atma town to operate generators and supply water to camps, without fulfilling the promises.

On October 7, tens of residents staged demonstrations in Deir Hassan and Harbanoush towns in the northern countryside of Idlib, expressing their rejection of opening crossings with regime-controlled areas.

The demonstrators called upon the factions to open the way to frontlines to fight regime forces. They also condemned the efforts by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham to normalise relations with the Syrian regime and opening crossings with areas under its countryside to refresh its dilapidated economy, at a time when HTS seems indifferent to the dire living conditions of civilians in light of the scourge of the war which forced them to be displaced in refugee camps for years, according to protestors.
