For “smuggling drugs” | Lebanese Hezbollah brought 75 gunmen to Jordanian-Syrian borders

SOHR activists have reported that 75 armed members affiliated to the Lebanese Hezbollah arrived to “Zamla Bakr” and “Haya” areas in western of the 55 Kilometre de-confliction zone in the Syrian desert.

The members headed towards eastern Al-Suwaydaa desert led by “Hussein Al-Absat”, who is affiliated to Lebanese Hezbollah” to increase the activity of smuggling drugs from regime-held areas to the Kingdom of Jordan.

According to reliable SOHR sources, “Hussein Al-Absat” belongs to “Al-Absat” group, which is affiliated to the Lebanese Hezbollah that is known for smuggling narcotic drugs towards the Jordanian lands from eastern Al-Suwaydaa countryside.

On December 21, the military intelligence services of the regime released “Mari Ramthan,” the most prominent drug trafficker and smuggler who smuggle drugs from Jordan to the Gulf States, a collaborator with the Lebanese Hezbollah-backed militia in Al-Suwaydaa countryside, in exchange for a huge ransom. The drug trafficker was released after an arrest that lasted only five days.
This came after an official of Lebanese “Hezbollah” called “Ahmed Hajj” promised Mari Ramthan’s family that the drug trafficker would be released.
