Near military security station | Prominent regime associator survives assas-sination attempt in Homs

Homs province: a member of the Qatari administration “Mohammed Al-Marwany” (Abo Morhaf) survived an assassination attempt by unidentified gunmen, while he was exiting his car in front of his house in western Al-Mashjara neighbourhood in Talbisa city in northern Homs countryside, causing only material damages.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the house of “Abo Morhaf” lies near a checkpoint of the Military Security station, where the forces did not take any actions.

On October 17, unidentified gunmen assassinated the head of the council of Talbisa city “Ahmed Al-Rahal”, who is one of the prominent figures of the regime and responsible for handing over dozens of residents of Homs countryside to security branches.

Talbisa city in northern Homs countryside has been witnessing a state of security chaos since the middle of November, due to clashes between groups of drug dealers, where seven people were killed including a civilian.
