Joint patrol | Russian and Turkish forces tour areas eastern Ain Al-Arab (Kobani)

Aleppo province: Russian military police conducted today a joint patrol with the Turkish forces in the eastern countryside of Kobani, marking the 127th patrol between the two sides in the region, since the Russian-Turkish agreement on a ceasefire in north-eastern Syria.

 

The patrol, consisting of eight Russian and Turkish military vehicles, accompanied by two Russian helicopters, has set off from Gharib village, 15 kilometers to the east of Kobani.

 

The patrol has toured “Karbanaf, Kosek, Alishar, Jum Ali, Kortek, kobek Satan,Teiry, Tel Hajeb, Qabajek Saghir, talek, Boztaba, Qara Mogh, Jishan and Kharabisan Foqani” villages. Then the Turkish vehicles entered Turkey through the gate near “Gharib” village, while the Russian vehicles returned to their base near Sarin town south of Kobani.

 

On January 30, SOHR sources reported that Russian military police conducted a joint patrol with the Turkish forces in the western countryside of Kobani, accompanied by two Russian helicopters, marking the 125th patrol between the two sides in the region, since the Russian-Turkish agreement on a ceasefire in north-eastern Syria.

 

The patrol, consisting of eight Russian and Turkish military vehicles, set off from Ashmah village, 20 kilometers to the west of Kobani.
