Water recession in Euphrates | Water station diminish pumping of water in Al-Mayadeen in countryside of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists reported the noticeable water recession in Euphrates river, what pushed the water station in Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor to diminish pumping of water to once in every five days.

Civilians suffer the lack of water, as some of them buy water from water trucks at a high price to cover the daily needs of water.

Furthermore, water recession in Euphrates river creates a crisis for farmers, especially since the extraction of the water makes them shoulder further burdens due to the increase of the high cost of fuel and other things.
