Having attacked regime patrol to set detainees free | Member of armed group ki*lled in clashes with military inte*lligence in Madaya plain

Rif Dimashq province: A member of an armed group was killed in the attack which the group carried out yesterday evening, targeting a military patrol of the regime forces accompanied by a vehicle that carried detainees on the road between Al-Zabadani and Madaya cities in north of Rif Dimashq to release one of the detainees. 

 

According to SOHR sources, the member died of the wounds he sustained due to the explosion of a grenade during the clashes between the same armed group and members of the “military intelligence” who brought in reinforcement to the plain of Madaya, after the detainees managed to flee during the attack.

 

Yesterday, SOHR reported that armed groups attacked a military patrol of the regime escorted by a vehicle carrying prisoners on the road between Al-Zabadany and Madaya cities in northern Rif Dimashq to set free one of the prisoners, where he was working for a local group before being arrested.

 

According to reliable SOHR sources, several prisoners managed to flee during the attack, where members of the Military Intelligence Department responded by bringing military reinforcement to Al-Zabadany and Madaya cities, amid closure of all roads, entrances and exits of the area to search for fleeing prisoners.
