Ongoing violations | Turkish-backed factions assault three civilians and take their properties

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have monitored three assaults by the Turkish-backed National Army factions against civilians in Afrin since the beginning of March, as part of the systemic violation policy against residents to force them to emigrate and leave the area.

According to reliable SOHR sources, members of Al-Sultan Suleiman Shah faction “Al-Amshat” brutally beat and punched a civilian from Kakhira village western of Afrin city after cutting the road in front of his car, where the members insulted the civilian and threatened to kill him if he issued a complaint against them.

Moreover, a member of Al-Hamza Division brutally beat a civilian from Jolakan village in Jinderes district in Afrin countryside north western of Aleppo, after the civilian demanded the members of Al-Hamza Division to keep their sheep and animals away from his field. However, Al-Hamza Division brought other gunmen and assaulted the civilians, leaving him suffering bruises in different parts of his body, and he was taken to hospitals of Afrin to receive proper medication.

Meanwhile in Qastal Kashk village in Shiran district in Afrin countryside, members of a group of shepherds of the “National Army” brutally beat a civilian from the village, when the civilian prevented the shepherds from keeping their sheep and animals in the field of one of his relatives, injuring him and forcing him to stay in his bed for several days.
