After having kidnapped three shepherds and stolen their sheep | Armed gang releases two of kidnapped civilians and keeps holding the third

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR have obtained new details about the circumstances of the kidnapping of three civilians and stealing nearly 400 sheep on the vicinity of Madan Ateeq village in Deir Ezzor countryside.

 

According to SOHR sources, unidentified people on two motorcycles were exploring the area, before the attack of members of a gang on two 4×4 cars with a heavy submachine gun installed over one of them, where they opened fire on a tractor which the shepherds used to carry water and fodder leaving it on fire.

 

The gang kidnapped two shepherds and a worker who was working for them, and stole the sheep.

 

However, the gang’s member released the two men and kept the worker in their custody.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that unidentified gunmen believed to be of ISIS cells kidnapped three shepherds and stole nearly 400 sheep, in addition to setting fire to a tractor using for carrying water from the vicinity of Madan Ateeq village in Deir Ezzor countryside.

 

Meanwhile, the gunmen fled to an unknown destination, where regime forces were put on a high alert in Madan and Al-Tabany cities and fired flares on Al-Awsaj desert to detect ISIS cells’ movements.
