Homs | Weapons dealer shot dead by unidentified gunmen near regime’s checkpoint

Homs province: A weapons dealer was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on the road between Homs and Hama near the regime checkpoint of “Mulouk” in northern Homs countryside.

The dead man hailed from Talbesah city in Homs countryside.

This comes in light of ongoing security chaos and proliferation of weapons in regime-held areas.

On July 23, SOHR sources reported that the death toll increased to eight members of the regime forces and the militiamen affiliated to them, in the explosion of the military bus they were travelling in, near Twinan gas field at the triangle between Hama, Homs and Al-Raqqah. As the number increased and new information about the explosion arrived to SOHR, the information conflicted on whether it was an aerial targeting by a drone or a ground one through a landmine, where the death toll is likely to rise, as there are nine injured persons, some of them are in critical situations, in addition to information about other dead people.
