To retrieve lost positions | Regime forces attempt to advance and Turkish forces attack them in Idlib

The Turkish forces shelled positions of the regime forces in Idlib countryside within areas of the regime. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

SOHR activists monitored an attempt by the regime forces to advance towards the checkpoints that they lost to Ansar Al-Tawhid Faction a few days ago in Al-Malaja Village in Idlib countryside, coinciding with preparation of ground forces with nearly 1,500 artillery shells and missiles.

Earlier today, a 12-years-old girl was killed, and two of her siblings were injured, in a bombardment by regime forces with rocket launchers, on the road between Sarmin and Nayrab towns in the eastern countryside of Idlib, near military positions of the Turkish forces, within “Putin-Erdogan” area.
After midnight, regime forces and militias supporting them launched a ground attack towards Talat Al-Malajah in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in south of Idlib, amid violent clashes and intense and exchanged artillery and missile shelling, which ended without any progress for those forces. The clashes resulted in the death of a member of “Ansar Al-Tawhid” faction and a regime soldier.
On a related context, regime forces fired heavy artillery shells of the vicinity of Maarat Al-Naasan town and Sarmin city in Idlib’s countryside and Kafar Taal village west of Aleppo. Only material damage was reported.
