Ongoing security chaos | Residents find body of woman with marks of stabs from knife in western Daraa countryside

Daraa province: The residents found the body of a woman stabbed several times to death with a knife inside her house in northern Al-Yaduda town in western Daraa countryside, while fingers pointing at the victim’s husband who is hiding .
It is worth noting that the investigations are still ongoing to know the circumstances of the incident.

This comes in light of escalating rate of crimes in regime-held areas, along with the security chaos.
The Syrian Observatory has documented 140 murders in regime-controlled areas since early 2023, where domestic violence and armed robbery were behind some of these murders, while motives behind the others remained unknown. These murder crimes left 154 fatalities: 32 women, 104 young and adult men and 18 children. The fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:

Rif Dimashq: 22 murder crimes left three women, two children and 18 men dead.

Latakia: 17 murder crimes left eight men, nine women and five children dead.

Al-Suwaidaa: 21 murder crimes left three children, 13 men and four women dead.

Homs: 13 murder crimes left nine men, a woman and a child dead.

Hama: 13 murder crimes left a child, 11 men dead and a young man.

Daraa: 17 murder crimes left 14 men and five women dead.

Damascus: 11 murder crimes left three women, a child and seven men dead.

Aleppo: Nine murder crimes left three children and three women and four men dead.

Deir Ezzor: Ten murder crimes left a child and ten men dead.

Al-Hasakah: One murder crime left one woman dead.

Al-Qunaitrah: One murder crime left one young man dead.

Tartus: Four murder crimes left two women and a little girl dead.

Idlib: One murder crime left five civilians dead.
