Military escalation | Groups of Hezbollah target occupied Syrian Al-Golan and Israel shells Al-Qonaitara as response

Groups of the “Islamic Resistance for Liberation of Al-Golan” of the Lebanese Hezbollah fired two missiles from Syrian areas towards the occupied Syrian Al-Golan, coinciding with major mobilization of the regime forces and militias present in Daraa and Al-Qonaitara adjacent to Al-Golan.

On the same context, Israel responded by shelling several positions in Syria, targeting a military formation in Telat Qars Al-Nafl (Hill) and the vicinity of Hadr Town in Al-Qonaitara countryside. However, no casualties were reported.

On December 28, the “Islamic Resistance in Iraq” launched a drone towards the Israeli “Eliad” settlement, located south of the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, where the drone fell in the settlement, causing material damage, and no causalities were reported.
On December 26, SOHR reported that Israeli missiles targeted two positions near Arnah village in western Rif Dimashq and another position on the vicinity of Hadar village in Al-Qunaitrah countryside, but no casualties were reported.
This came after monitoring the military movements of figures working with Iranian-backed militias in the region.
This coincided with a state of high alert in the areas near the occupied Syrian Golan, following the assassination of the commander of “Al-Quds Force” “Rida Musawy” yesterday in Israeli airstrikes on Al-Sayyadah Zainab in Rif Dimashq.
