Following an attack | Military convoy of International Coalition inspects Al-Sina’a Prison in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: A military convoy of the “International Coalition” Forces headed towards Al-Sina’a Prison in Ghuwairan Neighbourhood in Al-Hasakah City, where it set off from Al-Shaddadi City in Al-Hasakah countryside, to inspect the position that was shelled by missiles yesterday.

The convoy comprises five US armoured vehicles, coinciding with the flight of helicopters over the areas of International Coalition.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported that a missile landed near the outer wall of Ghuwairan prison, which houses prisoners of leaders and members of “ISIS” in Al-Hasakah city. Information indicates that the missile was launched from an area outside Al-Hasakah and is likely to be launched by Iranian-backed groups, where the target was a small military base of the American forces and Western intelligence, which is tens of metres away from Ghuwairan prison, and the missile landed on the outskirts of the prison, from the direction of the base.

According to SOHR sources, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, the American forces lowered the American flag from this base, in anticipation of any possible targeting, and military headquarters of the military forces working in Autonomous Administration areas are also located in the base area.
