Two separate operations | Ten members of IS*IS and the regime kil*led and injured in Al-Raqqa and Homs

Two members of ISIS and two members of the regime-backed gunmen were killed and a member was injured, in a violent attack by ISIS cells targeting military checkpoints in Al-Taiba, Al-Kawm and Qasr Al-Khaib Villages near Al-Sokhna City in Homs countryside, where clashes erupted between both sides as the assailants used machineguns and RPG shells before leaving the area towards an unknown destination.

Meanwhile, a member of the “National Defence” was killed and two others were injured in armed clashes between the National Defence and ISIS cells near checkpoints on the road between Ja’aidin and Al-Rasafa in western Al-Raqqa countryside.

On the same context, Russian planes launched extensive airstrikes on positions of ISIS cells in Al-Sokhna and Al-Rasafa Deserts.

According to SOHR statistics, the number of fatalities in military operations in the Syrian desert since early 2024 has increased to 148; and they are as follows:

• 19 ISIS members were killed by regime forces and their proxy militias.

• 114 members of regime forces and their proxy militias, including 13 Iranian-backed Syrian militiamen, were killed in 55 operations by ISIS members, including ambushes, armed attacks, and explosions, in west Euphrates region and the deserts of Deir Ezzor, Al-Raqqah, Homs.

• 15 civilians, including a child, were killed in attacks by ISIS in the Syrian desert.

Here is a regional distribution of ISIS attacks:

-Deir Ezzor desert: 17 operations left 31 fatalities:

• 29 combatants, including seven Iranian-backed militiamen.

• Two ISIS members.

• Two truffle pickers.

-Homs desert: 28 operations left 72 fatalities:

• 52 combatants, including three Iranian-backed militiamen.

• 14 ISIS members.

• Six civilian.

-Al-Raqqah desert: Five operations left 17 fatalities:

• 14 combatants.

• Three ISIS members.

-Hama desert: Four operations left 22 fatalities:

• Ten combatant.

• 12 civilians, including a child.

-Aleppo: One operation left three Iranian-backed militiamen dead.
