Documentations of the Syrian Observatory deny the narrative of the regime’s Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs about the killing of members of their army in air strikes that were likely Israeli on Deir ez-Zor.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights denies the information reported by the Syrian regime’s Ministries of Defence and Foreign Affairs regarding the recent airstrikes on Deir Ezzor province. SOHR Documents confirm that no regime soldier was killed in the airstrikes on Deir Ezzor, contrary to the regime’s official story that reported the death of seven soldiers and a civilian against the background of an American bombing, according to the same narrative, as the Syrian soldiers who were killed were working with Iranian militias and not within the regime’s army, and the airstrikes is also likely to be Israeli.
According to Syrian Observatory sources, the American side is within the areas of influence of the Autonomous Administration east of the Euphrates, and they confirmed that they had nothing to do with the air strikes and what they targeted.

After midnight on Monday-Tuesday, SOHR sources reported that the number of deaths due to an attack by unidentified airstrikes on positions in Deir Ezzor and Al-Bukamal and its surroundings, has increased to 18 individuals, they are as follows: 16 members of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps including an Iranian advisor who is a colonel in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps and responsible for the targeted communications center, two members were with the Iranian advisor, nine Iraqi members, four Syrians member and Syrian civil engineer.

In addition to 32 individuals were injured, they are as follows:
22 members of Iranian-backed militias
Ten civilians, while the others individuals were injured in the targeted positions in Deir Ezzor city and Al-Bukamal and the countryside in eastern Deir Ezzor.
Abd Al-Moneim Shehab villa, which the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia uses as a communications headquarters in Al-Vilat neighbourhood in Deir Ezzor city, was also targeted, in addition to a headquarters near Al-Abbas area and two locations in Al-Bokamal near the Syrian-Iraqi border in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
