Boosting military bases | Two cargo planes carrying military equipment land in the Coalition’s largest base in Syria

Deir Ezzor province: Two cargo planes carrying military and logistical supplies escorted by a helicopter landed in the Coalition’s largest base in Syria in Al-Omar oil field in eastern Deir Ezzor. This comes as a part of efforts by International Coalition Forces to boost their military bases in Syria, along with conducting military drills in those bases. US forces aim at raising the combat readiness of their troops to cope with expected attacks by Iranian-backed militias which have escalated their attacks on US bases in Syria since the beginning of Israel’s brutal aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023.

On March 21, SOHR sources reported that a “Chinook” cargo plane and two helicopters of the “International Coalition” Forces landed in Koniko Gas Field before setting off and landing in Al-Omar Oil Field in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
