Following disobedience | Security forces arrest prisoners who fled from “Narcotics” prison and control the situation

The security forces arrested two fleeing prisoners in the vicinity of the “Narcotics” prison, formerly known as “juvenile,” controlled the yards of the prison, and forced the prisoners to enter their cells nearly one hour after the start of the disobedience.

Ambulance vehicles transported four people who were injured during the violent clashes between prisoners and the security forces in the prison of “drug dealers and abusers”, following disobedience by the prisoners and breaking of windows, while the clashes are still ongoing along with military reinforcements arriving to the region, amid confirmed information that some prisoners managed to flee.

A few hours ago, SOHR activists reported that prisoners in the juvenile prison in Al-Raqqa carried out disobedience with sounds of gunshots due to an attack from outside the prison.

On the same context, the security forces mobilized and imposed a security cordon around the vicinity of the prison. However, no casualties were reported.

This comes four days after a similar incident in the same prison.
