Displacement of thousands of civilians towards areas controlled recently by the regime east of Aleppo city and to its controlled areas in the western part

Thousands of citizens are still displacing from the eastern neighborhoods of the city of Aleppo, with the continuation of military operations by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them within the city, and in the remaining eastern part of the city which is still under the control of the factions, where the regime forces re-attempt to take more areas and neighborhoods in the eastern neighborhoods of the city in order to reduce the faction’s controlled areas, which is accompanied by escalated bombardment on the neighborhoods of which were overwhelmed with tens of thousands of displaced people, causing more wounded and casualties among civilians.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights leaned that more than 10 thousand civilians have been displaced since shortly after midnight yesterday from the factions’ controlled areas in the neighborhoods of al-Ansari, al-Zebdiyyeh, Bustan al-Qasr and other areas east city of Aleppo, to areas controlled by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in the eastern neighborhoods of the city, and to regime forces’ controlled areas in the western section of the city.

This continued displacement of people have raised the number of displaced people to more than 120 thousand civilians people who have been displaced to the areas outside of the factions’ control in the city of Aleppo, including about 90 thousand who have fled to areas controlled recently by the regime forces in the eastern part of Aleppo city, while the rest of them (more than 30 thousand civilians) have been displaced to areas controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces in the neighborhood of Sheikh Maqsood and in the areas recently controlled by SDF in Bustan al-Basha and Halluk and the northern outskirts of Aleppo, and some of them went to the northern countryside of Aleppo.

While the remaining neighborhoods that still under the control of factions in the eastern section of Aleppo city still have tens of thousands of residents and displaced civilians, who are suffering tragic and disastrous humanitarian conditions, in light of the great danger posed by the bombing, which threatens of a massacre with the fall of every shell, a massacre that will cause many casualties and wounded, with the severe shortage of the means of living and the lack of some of it, and the bad health and humanitarian conditions, in addition to the existence of thousands of fighters in the neighborhoods that remain under their control.
