A mass wave of displacement in Daraa includes tens of thousands of citizens and the regime forces prevent them from entering their controlled areas and checkpoints of the regime impose royalties reached to 300000 SP

Daraa Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continued displacement of citizens inside Daraa province, as a result of the continuation of the military operation by the regime forces and their allies through which they try to take the control of Daraa province, and end the presence of factions in it, where the shelling which is concentrated on Daraa city and its eastern countryside, forced the citizens to displace from their houses, villages and towns towards areas away from the artillery and rocket shelling by the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, and the bombardment by the Russian warplanes and by the regime’s warplanes and helicopters by missiles and explosive barrels, where tens of thousands of citizens have been displaced from Daraa city and the towns of the eastern countryside including Al-Hrak, Nahte, Bosr al-Harir, Eastern Mleha, Western Mleha, Al-Lajat area and most of the eastern countryside.

The reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the regime forces are preventing the citizens from entering their controlled areas, and they are also preventing them from heading to the capital Damascus, while checkpoints of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, have imposed royalties ranged between 50000 to 300000 SP, on those who want to enter the regime’s controlled areas or head towards areas outside the province, amid resentment by the displaced people against trading in them, the manner which the regime forces follow in the areas which are witnessing military operations, where they claim not to target the citizens and that they came to protect them.

The Syrian Observatory published this morning, that the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were able in the evening to control the strategic towns of Bosr al-Harir and Mlehat al-Atash in the eastern countryside of Daraa, where this control enabled them to connect Izra’a city with al-Suwaidaa Province, in addition to isolating the northeastern countryside of Daraa, but it is not known until the moment whether the areas north of Bosr al-Harir still have faction fighters. This control operation came with intense cover of fire during the last few days of hundreds of airstrikes by Russian warplanes and helicopters, in addition to the violent and heavy missile shelling using hundreds of missiles and shells, and the regime forces on Monday were able to achieve more advancement within al-Lajat area and expanded their control to 7 villages, where the regime forces seek to control the entire area located in the northeastern countryside of Daraa.
