The Syria Democratic Forces advance in the outskirts of Deir Ezzor province to close the road between them and the stronghold of the “Islamic State” organization in Al-Raqqah

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed that the violent clashes are still taking place between the Syria Democratic Forces backed by warplanes of the international coalition against the “Islamic State” organization, on the administrative border between Deir Ezzor and Al-Raqqah, and the Syria Democratic Forces managed to achieve significant advancement and control Abu Khashab town in the northwestern desert of Deir Ezzor, within the 3rd phase of the “Euphrates Wrath” operations, and this control allows the Syria Democratic Forces to advance towards the road linking the Deir Ezzor city and Al-Raqqah city, of which the supplies pass and crossovers take place between both cities, in addition to decreasing the attacks on ​​Mount Abdul Aziz area in the southwest of Hasaka, this control came after intensive airstrikes carried out by the international coalition’s warplanes on Abu Khashab town, also the Syria Democratic Forces advanced today in several villages at the triangle of al-Makman – Deir Ezzor – Al-Raqqah.
