US-led Coalition Convoy Enters Syria’s Hasakah: Monitor
ERBIL – A military convoy of the US-led Coalition to combat the Islamic State (IS) entered Syria’s Hasakah province on Thursday, a war monitor revealed.
The convoy, consisting of 40 trucks carrying military and logistics equipment and coming from the Kurdistan Region, entered Syria through Simalka border crossing, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
“The convoy consisted of 40 trucks carrying military and logistical equipment. The convoy headed to the military bases in Al-Hasakeh countryside,” SOHR added.
According to the observatory group, earlier on August 5, a coalition convoy entered Syria through al-Walid border crossing.
