East Euphrates region | Man and little girl injured due to SDF gunfire, while indiscriminate gunshot kills another girl

Deir Ezzor Province: SOHR sources in east Euphrates region have reported that SDF members stationed at a checkpoint in Hawaij village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor opened fire on a car, injuring a man and a little girl from al-Shuhayl town. The two civilians were taken to the hospital.

 

Separately, a little girl was killed after she was hit with indiscriminate gunshot, when she was in front of her house in Theban town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

 

On May 3, SOHR activists in east Euphrates region reported that Syria Democratic Forces stormed Hawaij village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, arresting seven people, including five displaced, for “belonging to ISIS”. A day earlier, Syrian Observatory sources said that members of an SDF patrol arrested a former ISIS member, after storming his house in al-Baghouz town in eastern Deir Ezzor.
