Amid flights by Russian jet | Explosions rock “Peace Spring” area in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported hearing several explosions in areas controlled by Turkish forces and factions of “Peace Spring” operations room near Al-Mahmoudiyah village in Tel Tamr town in north-western Al-Hasakah, along with the flight of a fighter jet, believed to be Russian, over that area.

 

According to local sources, a Russian fighter jet targeted positions of Turkish-backed factions, where the flash of the explosions was seen in Al-Mahmoudiyah, Kherbet Jammou, Al-Dawa’iyah and Al-Aliyah countryside. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

A few hours ago, SOHR sources reported that two members of the SDF-backed “Al-Khabour Guard Forces” were injured in bombardment by Turkish forces on villages in Tel Tamr countryside in north-western Al-Hasakah.

 

According to SOHR sources, Turkish forces sporadically shelled the villages of Al-Abboush and Um Al-Kaif, causing considerable material damage, where houses sustained partial damage while service institutions were put out of service.

 

The Turkish bombardment was concentrated on the villages of Um Al-Kaif, Al-Dardarah, Qabar Kabeer, Al-Abboush and Qabbour Qarajenah. Meanwhile, the targeted region experienced new mass exodus of residents who were concerned about Turkish military escalation.
