Stationed in “Peace Spring” area | Turkish forces shell village in rural Al-Raqqah

Al-Raqqah province: Turkish forces stationed in “Peace Spring” area fired artillery shells on Fatesah village to the east of Ain Issa in Al-Raqqah province. However, no further details have been reported yet about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the recent attack.

 

This comes as a part of ongoing provocative operations between military forces operating in “Peace Spring” area and SDF.

 

In late February, SOHR sources reported that the frontline of Ain Eissa and the Silos and Ain Eissa camp in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah, witnessed exchanged targeting with heavy weapons between SDF on the one hand, and the Turkish forces and their proxies on the other hand, where SDF targeted locations of the Turkish forces and their proxies with rocket shells, while the latter responded with artillery shelling.
