Military escalation | Manbij military council forces clash with Euphrates Shield factions in Manbij countryside amid Turkish shelling

Aleppo province: Yesterday midnight, clashes erupted between SDF forces of Manbij military council and the Euphrates Shield factions on Al-Jamosiyah and Al-Sayyadah frontlines in the countryside of Manbij, north-east of Aleppo.

This coincides with mortar shelling by Turkish forces on Jabal Al-Sayyadah in the countryside of Manbij. No casualties have been reported so far.

On November 21, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions fired heavy artillery shells on areas controlled by the SDF-backed Manbij Military Council Forces in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. The Turkish bombardment was concentrated on the villages of Korheyuk, Al-Kawikli and Qert Wayran in Manbij countryside in eastern Aleppo. However, no casualties were reported.
