After returning from Al-Rukban camp | Security services arrest civilian in Al-Waar in Homs

SOHR activists have reported that regime forces arrested a civilian known initially as “M.R.” in Homs city, a year after he returned from Al-Rukban camp “Forgotten” at borders between Syria, Iraq and Jordan, and he under went reconciliation.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the civilian was surprised when security authorities in Al-Waar neighbourhood in Homs told him to visit the reconciliation centre that was opened by the regime forces on November 13, to undergo reconciliation again. However, he was arrested by the security service of the “State Security” branch of the regime, demanding 75,000,000 Syrian Liras from his family to release him.

On December 3, regime security forces arrested a 75-year-old man from a shelter in Homs city and took him to intelligence branch of Palmyra desert, for unknown charges.
It is worth noting that the elderly man struck a settlement deal in a shelter centre in Homs province and recently left Al-Rukban camp nearly two months ago, as he suffered from incurable skin disease.
It is worth noting that many of the residents of Al-Rukban camp are forced to head to areas controlled by the Syrian regime due to the dire living conditions, facing the unknown future.
