In new round | Russian airstrikes target “IS-IS” positions in Palmyra desert

today’s strikes were concentrated on positions where “ISIS” cells are hiding in Palmyra desert in the eastern countryside of Homs. No causalities were reported.
The Russian side continues to carry out a series of airstrikes on ISIS positions in the Syrian desert, against the backdrop of the increased activity of “ISIS” cells and the resurgence of their attacks in various areas in the desert.
On February 22, SOHR reported that Russian warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on positions in Al-Boshra, Al-Rasafa and Palmyra, which are believed to shelter ISIS cells.
