Response by Hezbollah and regime forces | Five members of H*T*S kil*led on frontline on Al-Zawiyah Mountain

Six people were killed: a member of the regime and five members of Amr Bin Al-A’as Brigade that belongs to HTS, in an infiltration operation by the latter on Al-Barij Frontline on Al-Zawiyah Mountain.

According to reliable SOHR sources, regime forces and groups of the Lebanese Hezbollah carried out a response operation on groups of HTS that advanced towards positions of the regime, and upset the attack leaving casualties among their forces.

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 123 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks, gunfire by snipers and bombardment, which left 137 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 56 combatants and 54 civilians, including six children, injured.

The fatalities can be distributed as follows:

• 15 civilians, including five children and a woman.

• 85 members of regime forces, including four officers.

• 32 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.

• Four members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.

• One member of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”
