IS*IS resurgence | Gu*nmen target fuel tanks of Al-Qaterjy Company western of Al-Raqqa

Al-Raqqa province: ISIS cells targeted a convoy of fuel tanks of Al-Qaterjy Company on the road between Athriya and Al-Tabaka western of Al-Raqqa, where four gunmen on motorbikes fired machineguns of the convoy and damaged several tanks. However, no casualties were reported.

SOHR has documented 89 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks and explosions, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration since early 2024. According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 46 fatalities:
* 33 members of SDF, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and other military formations operating in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.
* Three ISIS member.
* Six civilians including a child.
* Four guards working with the Autonomous Administration.

These operations are distributed regionally as follows:

• Deir Ezzor: 71 attacks left 22 combatants, one member of ISIS and five civilians including a child dead.

• Al-Hasakah: Ten attacks left five combatants, one civilian and two ISIS members dead.

 

• Al-Raqqah: Eight attacks left six combatants and four guards working with the Autonomous Administration dead.
