Deir Ezzor | Young man killed and another wanted by SDF injured by bullets of military checkpoint in northern countryside

Deir Ezzor province: A young man was killed and another wanted by SDF was injured, as a result of being targeted by members of Ruwaished checkpoint on Al-Kharafi road in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor in SDF areas, because they did not stop at the checkpoint for inspection. The injured person was taken to the hospital for treatment.
On April 8, SOHR reported that members of SDF opened fire on a civilian for “refusing to stop at Al-Sannour Checkpoint of SDF” in Abo Hamam Town eastern of Deir Ezzor, where the civilian was severely injured and taken to a hospital to receive proper medication, amid tension among residents and members of the checkpoint.
It is worth noting that SDF imposed curfew in areas eastern of Deir Ezzor warning against violating it.
