Fighting continues in Armanaz town in the east of Idlib and Tahrir Al-Sham blocks the roads to it after involving in the fighting in defense of a patrol of the Islamic Party of Turkestan

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored continuation of the tension and the fighting during the last night, between members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham against members of a rebel Corps and a battalion of Ahrar Al-Sham Movement, in Armanaz town in the easter countryside of Idlib, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the clashes were accompanied by explosions, caused by using shells during the clashes between the both parties, amid bringing military reinforcements by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham to the area, also reliable sources confirmed that Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham imposed its control on the town hours after fighters from Armanaz town who are operating in Al-Sham Corps and Ahrar Al-Sham Movement had imposed their control on the town located in the northern countryside of Idlib.

Reliable sources reported the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the roads to Armanaz town are still blocked, as a result of the fighting which local sources told the SOHR that it took place due to the development of a debate between a patrol of the Islamic Party of Turkestan and elements of the Movement and the Corps to a verbal argument and exchange of fire, and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham intervened side by side with the Islamic Party of Turkestan, so the exchange of fire developed to violent clashes, which resulted in the fall of casualties in the ranks of the both parties, and exchange of control on the town which witnessed days ago a massacre left tens of casualties and wounded as a result of the bombing, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 6th of October 2017, that a demonstration went out in Armanaz town in the northern countryside of Idlib, in which the demonstrators demanded “the Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham to go out from the town” where the members of the Hayaat “opened fire at the demonstrates”, It is noteworthy that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of about 40 citizens including 8 and 8 citizen women as a result of the massacre, which was carried out by warplanes by targeting the town by two separated raids targeted the same place, in the 29th of September 2017, in which the second raid targeted the place where the first raid was carried out during rescuing the injuries and extracting the bodies and the stuck people under the ruins of the destruction caused by the first raid, the targeting also resulted in the injury and the missing of tens of citizens including children and citizen women, in this is the biggest massacre witnessed in Idlib since months.

It is noteworthy that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored on Sunday morning the 8th of October 2017, the entry of a Turkish force consists of several vehicles, and on board of them there were Turkish reconnaissance forces, and they headed to the western countryside of Aleppo. Intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that these vehicles had entered the Syrian border accompanied by military vehicles and machines of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, which protected these machines and headed towards Darat Azza area in the western countryside of Aleppo, and located near the contact lines with YPG which control the area of Afrin, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information that an agreement was been reached about handing over the points of contact with the Kurdish forces in Afrin to the Turkish forces; after the Turkish forces and vehicles enter the area located in the western countryside of Aleppo.
