Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the province Idlib witnessed escalated assassinations today evening, Saturday the 19th of May 2018, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored unidentified gunmen targeting 5 members of the security committee in Idlib city, which caused their immediate death, while unidentified gunmen opened fire on a checkpoint of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in al-Z’einiyyeh area in the western countryside of Jisr Al-Shughur city, which killed 2 members and injured 4 others, while unidentified gunmen threw a grenade on a checkpoint of a rebel faction in Ayn Al-Hamra area in Sahl Al-Ruj, while others targeted a checkpoint of the Islamic Party of Turkestan, near the Junction of Haj Mahmoud Farm, in the northern countryside of Jisr Al-Shughur, while one of the jewelers accused Uzbek and Asian members of robbing jewelry he had as well as his car, on Idlib – Maarrat Misrin Road, also unidentified gunmen targeted by an IED, the vehicle of a commander of battalions used to operate in Zabadani in Rif Dimashq, on the road to Al-Mastumah area, which caused material damage, without information about casualties.
